How embarrassing! Second time in 4 days I've fallen off the bike when at a standstill! I failed to get the cleat undone when coming to a halt and crashed on to my side - at least it was the other side this time, so I've evened things up a bit. No blood drawn today, just a minor graze on my right hip.
We did a 30-miler today at lunchtime - we're including lots of hills now. It's fantastic to cycle round such beautiful countryside - some of the Cotswold villages we cycle through are idyllic at this time of year. Sadly the roads are so potholed you daren't take your eyes off it for too long. Tony kept hitting potholes and losing his drink bottle - after a while he gave up going back for it!!
