A group of 10 RAF and Army Personnel based at RAF Brize Norton are attempting to cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End in a continuous relay in under 99 hours. We also aim to ascend and descend the three highest Peaks in the United Kingdom. One of our team members will be riding solo, direct from John O’Groats to Lands End trying to beat the rest of the team to the finish.

Introducing the Team - 10
Jim the Medic. Also from the Parachute Regt, Jim is the other soldier in the Section and provides the medical support to all our parachute trials, as well as being the resident car mechanic for JADTEU! Jim provided the essential medical back up to our Challenge event, which fortunately wasn't required. He also led the team up the 3 mountains. Jim’s interests range from cars (particularly VW Golfs) to building his own house – which he has been doing in his spare time in between fixing everybody’s cars! Despite being a whiz with cars, Jim has yet to learn how to switch on a computer (at work at least!) or to get a photograph of himself!
