Curry Surprise!

We had the unexpected pleasure of a surprise curry when we reached Glasgow (or Muirhead to be precise).  One of our support drivers, Kev’s uncle very kindly invited us to pop in for a homemade biriani as we passed by, so, not wishing to disappoint, we agreed!  It was delicious and we were made to feel extremely welcome.  Thank you, Danny, for your exceptional hospitality – it’s no easy feat to knock up a meal for 9 hungry blokes at short notice!

We’re now (1950 hrs) about an hour from Lossiemouth.  Some have slept virtually all the way on the home made “bunks” that we’ve developed.  They look quite comfortable looking back from the front seat!  The weather has not been brilliant so far – it’s been chucking it down most of the way, although it has stopped now and looks a bit brighter.  The forecast is not looking good though – showers are forecast for most of the UK for most of the next four days – great!!!

The signal from the dongle is a bit intermittent at the moment, but hopefully I’ll get this posted shortly.  That’ll do for today – let’s see what tomorrow brings.  This time tomorrow we’ll be 4 hours in to our ride.......
