“Chappers” joined the RAF in 1991 after spending some time posing – sorry, working - as a Lifeguard (Pool Attendant?!). After various tours as a PTI he qualified as a PJI in 1997. He joined ATS in Jan 2010, having completed a number of tours in various PJI roles, most significantly a 3-year tour on the “World Famous” RAF Falcons Display Team, during which time he qualified as a Freefall Instructor. He has completed operational tours in both A group of 10 RAF and Army Personnel based at RAF Brize Norton are attempting to cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End in a continuous relay in under 99 hours. We also aim to ascend and descend the three highest Peaks in the United Kingdom. One of our team members will be riding solo, direct from John O’Groats to Lands End trying to beat the rest of the team to the finish.
