Nearly There!!!!!

0630 hrs - after a wet and windy night travelling through Bristol, Somerset and Devon, we crossed the border in to Cornwall about 15 mins ago!  We now have about 80 miles to go and we should be arriving at Lands End about 1400 hrs.

We had a bit of a problem finding the cycle path over the Severn Bridge yesterday evening - poor old Andy & Kelvin had to retrace their steps a couple of times.  What made it worse for them is that those steps were up some steep hills! However we got there in the end.

I had hoped I'd get through the trip without falling off - that didn't happen!  However, I'm not the only one.  We've had 4 fallers in total: Kelvin was the first, followed by Phil, myself and then Chappers - all of which have been pretty innocuous.

Rob is about an hour or so behind us now and will probably end up being a few hours behind at Lands End.  However, he still has a chance to complete within the 99 hours which will be a fantastic effort - just completing it on his own will be amazing.

I can't promise when the next entry will be - the first priority on arrival at LE will be to get showered and out of our fairly reesty cycling gear.  Well, maybe the first priority will be a beer and a big pat on the back, however.....!!  With the dodgy connections it has been almost impossible to upload any photos recently, however, I'll try to get some photos from the trip uploaded during the next few days.

Roll on Lands End!!!
