2 Down, 1 to Go!

We completed the climb of Scafell Pike this morning and are now on our way to Snowdon.  In some of the worst weather conditions ever seen in the Lake District in June (that's not strictly true but it seemed like it to us!) we made it to the top.  Unfortunately, coming off the mountain we got a little lost in the clag which cost us about 4 hours.  This means that all the time we have gained during the previous 2 days has been lost, however, we're still on target to complete within the 99 hour period.

When we last heard from Rob he was still doing well - he's somewhere 10 miles north of Wigan, so at the moment he is some way ahead of us!  The race is on!!

The 2 Simons brought the team back in to England last night and we made it to Scafell by about 0100 hrs.  We waited until daylight because of the weather and headed off about 0430.  We had hoped to be down and cycling by about 1000 but unfortunately we didn't get going until 1400.

We hope to reach Snowdon by about 0400 on Wednesday morning......
